Bentuk waktu ini digunakan untuk
menyatakan action/tindakan yang akan dilakukan dalam konteks masa lampau.
Tense ini sebetulnya sama dengan Present Future Cuma bedanya terletak
pada masa sekarang dan lampau. Kesamaanya, sama-sama akan melakukan aktifitas
di masa mendatang.
Untuk membetuk kalimat Simple
past future dapat kita gunakan pola umum sebagai berikut:
S + would + V1
S + would not + V1
Would + S + V1?
Kita juga dapat menggunakan pola be
going to sebagai berikut:
S + be (was/were) goint to + V1
S + be (was/were) not goint to
+ V1
Be(was/were) + S +going to +
V1?
Ket: Was digunakan untuk
subjek: He, She, It sedangkan Were untuk subjek: I, You, They, We.
